The Grand Canyon

Quite an impressive hole in the ground to say the least. "Majestic, Mesmerizing, Vast and Simply Beautiful" These are words that I overhead a group of elementary kids saying when asked to describe The Grand Canyon while looking over the South Rim, on what was an obvious school field trip. Wow, we never got to do something like THAT when I was in school. 

Inspired  by the canyon colors is the Spicy Senorita Dress at $69.00 you can't beat it. 

Inspired by the Native Indians of the Canyon. This Tribal Pattern Sweater is great to add to a dress and boots like above. But, equally eye-pleasing over leggings and a T. Not to mention comfy comfy.

Sometimes the Canyon has a thin layer of smoke and mist at sunset, from the campers and the controlled burns. The Canyon can be mysterious and sultry also.  Seeing the shadows and the ravens against the color of the Canyon is quite breathtaking.  Contrasts of slience with hushes of beauty--this can inspire those days when you feel like keeping everything to yourself.  However, the Grand Canyon is so surreal and unbelieveable, I had to share it with you.

Beyond Beauty

Just finished a photo shoot for our on-line boutique, SimplyHome. All of the pictures are so beautiful, and it is going to be toooo hard to pick only a few to feature on-line to showcase our fashion. These gals, the models (Katie & Zoe), are beyond beautiful to look at. They are respectful, polite, fun, charming and all around sweet-natured young ladies. Most behavior is learned, so kudos to their Mamas. But, the true caliber of an individual is what is on the inside.

Summer Fun

Nothing is better on a hot summer evening than home-made ice cream. Yummy. There is somthing to be said about this good, old-fashioned treat that makes kids, and the kids-at-heart, smile. Yes, the cream adds an extra calorie or two, but how can you pass up all natural fun made with whatever you want?....if you love fruit; well, add strawberries or cherrys.....add some chocolate or pecans....if that is what you feel like--the sky is the limit.
